Go Fish is a cute seafood shack at Fishermans Wharf in Granville Island.
I love fresh seafood so there was no negotiation, I had to dine at Go Fish on my visit, and I’m so happy that I did.
The location of Go Fish is perfect for enjoying fresh seafood sandwiches, tacos, or fish and chips.
I ordered the Chargrilled Wild Salmon with side stripe shrimp mayo, japanese style pickled cucumber, and organic greens with a side of a vinaigrette coleslaw.
Pretty gourmet for a seafood shack.
I was really happy with my sandwich. However, the bun was a little too big for my not so large piece of salmon. They need to perfectly balance the bread and salmon ratio and then they will have a masterpiece.
My friend ordered the oyster ‘Po Boy’. The sandwich has three still juicy BBQ local oysters, shredded iceberg lettuce, chipotle crema, sweet onion, and Gordo’s tartar sauce.
I was lucky to just have a bite of this sandwich. I’m not usually one for oysters but this sandwich was delicious.
And yes, the oysters really were ‘still juicy’
