BLT Steak is located in a cute and posh boutique hotel called The Betsy in South Beach. The restaurant is a Modern American steakhouse. BLT sandwiches are not on the menu.
I was very pleased when Gruyere Popovers were quickly brought to our table soon after we sat down. They were very airy and delicious. Popover are going to take over.
A cute touch was that the popovers came with the recipe so you can make them at home, or attempt to make them at home.
The ingredients are:
- 3 cups milk
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbs. kosher salt
- 6 eggs
- 6 oz. Gruyère cheese, grated
I ordered the Chopped Vegetable Salad with Oregano dressing. I love when a salad is chopped, which is the main reason I ordered it.
BLT Popover Poached Eggs with spinach, ham, bacon, and gruyere cheese. Looks like a cave of pleasure.
